Snow Snow go away...

And never come back!!!!!!
Its  winter in the Midwest and much of the country *boo*. I was really hoping the snow and cold would hold off until we were finished moving but I think it started BECAUSE we are moving. We got stuck moving in a blizzard last year and it looks like that is on the agenda again for this year. I wouldn't have a problem with it if it would know it's place and stay there. Snow belongs on the grass, trees and rooftops NOT the streets, sidewalks and driveways!!!!!! I want that greeting card look without all the hassle of shoveling and driving on it. I don't think that's too much to ask either really.
OMGoodness I was standing in the kitchen and heard a crackling sound, a pop and then what sounded like water falling on the carpet in the dining room. I panicked because it sounded like a pipe burst and water was pouring in the dining room. I just stood there frozen like o shit what was that?!?!? I finally walked around the corner to see that a bottle of wine that we had gotten for Christmas blew it's cork and there was red wine spilling all over the white carpet (why my grandparents put white carpet in this house I will never understand *sigh*). Anyway after I got unstupified I soaked up the wine and then soaked the carpet with Formula 409 carpet cleaner and I think it will take another couple cleanings to get the color out (at least till we move). I decided to open the 2nd bottle and that spewed out everywhere too!!!! I was like what the entire Hell is wrong with this stuff. I think it may have been the way we had it sitting on the bar (standing up vs in a rack or holder). I feel bad cause my cousin made it and I know they tried really hard to get wine after last year's maggot issue. I hope mom's bottles don't blow their tops so I can get a taste. It smelled really good.

O well off to bed cause we have to get up early to shovel...again...
Why do we still love where it snows?????

On well. Until next time
Hugs, Kisses and Bestest wishes

Bonus pic: The cat was completely unphased by all the commotion of the wine geyser
