I just remembered that yesterday it's been a month of working out at the gym and I feel awesome! In that time I've gone from lifting no weight to being able to squat 95 pounds and bench press 110. I haven't lost any weight that I can tell but powerlifting isn't about losses it's all about the gains. What I've gained is confidence and a sense of accomplishment. I've gained a group of friends that all have the same passion and want to support each other and push everyone to their goals. I've also gained pride. It feels good when I lift a heavier weight than I did the last time. It's an adrenaline rush and just keeps you wanting to come back for more. Sometimes I'm sore and I'm in pain but it's a good pain because I earned it. I'm a long way to where I want to be but I'm also a lot further than where I started. I am happy with all that I have accomplished and motivated to keep pushing forward.
Until next time
Hugs, Kisses and Bestest wishes
