Last weekend Jaxsen was over from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening and needless to say it was great!!! He slept like a champ (well if you consider rolling around like a tornado and kicking the crap out of me all night sleeping like a champ lol). He went to bed around 10 and didn't get up until 9 on Saturday and he would have slept until forever on Sunday but he needed a diaper change. He was so good on Saturday morning too when the storm came through town and knocked out our power. He sat in his high chair and ate his breakfast and jabbered while we cleaned up the mess (broken shed, runaway garbage cans, various debris, mystery downspout, projectile propane tank, bent shed doors). I came to the conclusion, however, that Jaxsen belongs on that "reason my kid is crying" website. He pitched a major hiss fit on Friday because Sarah wouldn't let him run into the street. He laid on the driveway and cried for about 20 minutes. Saturday he freaked out for almost a half an hour because I wouldn't let him smash his fingers in the door and then Saturday night was a 2 parter. He cried getting in the tub and then cried when it was time to get out of the tub. He is a whole mess sometimes but man he's funny!!!! He loves his Frozen too. I watched that movie 5 times last weekend. I colored my hair on Saturday night too. It is supposed to be a dark burgundy color but to me it's purple"ish" and I LOVE it!!!!! It makes me feel fancy and next time I'm going to go a little redder and see what that looks like. I thought I had gotten a permanent color but I think I got semi-permanent so I will be able to color again sooner (which is fine with me).
Monday I was supposed to go meet with Dawn at Rt. 26 to discuss reception stuff but as soon as she walked in the door she was bombarded so we didn't get to talk but for like a minute so that didn't get done but Tuesday was more productive with the DJ and I believe we are going to go with Time Warp Entertainment. I know the DJs and they are the cheapest that I have found. I'm excited to finally be able to start getting things accomplished. Another one of my bridesmaids bought their dress so we just need to get my brother, Leah and Kacie bought for and all my people will be done :)
Today is my Friday and I'm super excited to stay in bed late tomorrow...even though I probably won't. I want to go to Rockford solo so I can spend all the time I want doing stuff but I probably won't be able to so I guess I will have to wait for Sarah to get off so I can go get my earrings and look for shoes and maybe get my undergarments from David's Bridal. I want to get them soon but I also kind of want to wait till closer to time in case I lose weight (and I damn well better!!!)
This weekend is Easter with the Kosin family in Schaumburg then next weekend is with the Folgates here at the house and I kind of like that set up. It is much easier to do them on different weekends and also we can get the kids' stuff on sale (yeah 50%-75% off sales baby lol).
Welp the boss will be home soon so I guess I better do the dishes so I can sit and watch hockey after dinner
