Happy Fat Tuesday love bugs!!! I hope you are all enjoying the day eating whatever and drinking whatever before Lent starts. Does everyone know what they are giving up? I don't have any idea what I want to give up in addition to no fish on Friday. I'll get back to you on that...
Speaking of Mardi Gras, this past Saturday was our family Mardi Gras party and it was so fun!!!! It was nice to spend time with my siblings and their families and just hang out and talk. I think I'm going to be planning more dinners with them before we all get to heading our separate ways. After the party Leah and Harlan spent the night and Sunday morning was so funny!!!! I was laying in bed listening to them giggling and talking and playing and the things those kids do and say are hilarious. Harlan was talking about Leah and her "nasty hair" and then I thought Leah called him a mud butt and I died. She didn't but the thought of it was soooo funny. Sunday was girl day in Rockford with Amy, Leah and Emmalynn and that was fun. I haven't been to Cherryvale Mall in 6 years and the last time I was there was with my sister. We did a little shopping and had lunch and I found a few cute things at Claire's and Spencer's that I want to go back and get. Emmalynn is the funnest thing and I can't wait until the next time I get to cuddle her even though she thinks it's cool to spit up in my mouth the little turd biscuit. I still can't believe she did that it was so grody!!!
Only 16 more days till Spring officially starts but I couldn't tell by how cold it still is out and it's making me crazy. I can't wait to be able to get outside and get some color on my cheekies.
O well I'm not really doing anything special other than watching Teen Mom 2 and checking Pinterest for more wedding ideas than I know what to do with lol.
