I am not...
I brought my mother's insanely fancy and ridiculously difficult to figure out sewing machine home because I wanted to try to make my own clothes and yeah so far all I've managed to do is frustrate myself. I never learned how to use a sewing machine before and now I'm regretting it. I can sew by hand pretty well but it would just be so much easier if I could use a machine but I'm guessing I'm going to have to either pay someone to make what I want for me or stock up on thimbles because this isn't gonna work. All I wanted was a couple new maxi dresses and maybe a chevron skirt or two and I'm losing my darn marbles...
I can't believe that Harlan starts school tomorrow OMG!!! Where did the time go??? These kids need to slow down growin up cause I'm not sure I'm ready for it. I'm glad I get to drop him off and pick him up so let's hope this interview works out and the job allows me to do that...I hope it's not for that job in Warren I really don't want to drive all the way up there everyday for only a 6 month assignment...we'll see later...
I had a phone interview for a place called MTX and I think it went...pretty bad. I hate interviews in the first place and then the woman asking totally irrelevant questions and the dog was barking at EVERYTHING!!!! I hate when you're doing an interview and they ask you dumb questions about what you do in your free time...that's my business not yours. I just want to go to work, do my job and and get my paycheck.
O well my second day of temporary unemployment went pretty well. I cleaned a little then watched Designing Women and Reba so I stayed pretty busy. O and I took a nap...naps rock. Tomorrow I'm going to try to do something productive but I'm not sure what exactly. Maybe I'll look up and try one of the many DIY projects I have pinned on Pinterest and see how that goes.
I'm about to go make my special faux-made s'getti sauce and get ready for Sarah to get home from school.
Until next time
Hugs, Kisses and Bestest wishes
