Weekend recap

So this weekend was...interesting to say the least.  It started Friday by being dicked around by the horrible people at the Freeport DMV.  They didn't tell us everything we'd need in order to transfer the title of the black car to my name and they also didn't tell us the correct price so we had to wait till Saturday to go to Elgin to get the correct paperwork after we dropped Sophie off at the vet for her ear (she had a polyp in her ear canal that they had to remove) and to the transfer.  The people we dealt with at the Elgin DMV were awesome and come to find out we didn't need the crap that the heifer at the Freeport DMV said we would (wench). We picked up Sophie and then went out to C-Ville to pick up the car and spend time with Jerry or Father's Day.  We did some yard work and had dinner and had a good time (I watched Big Bang Theory for the first time)...until it was time to come home...  We got about 20 minutes from home and they car just took a dump.  I was driving along and the "Service Engine" light came on and I lost power.  I pulled over and turned the car off and it wouldn't start back up again so Sarah popped the hood and I heard a noise like the AC kicked on and that quick I smelled anti-freeze and saw smoke.  It was after midnight so it was dark and we couldn't see what was wrong.  I'm hoping that the hose just blew off and it's not something worse aka expensive.  I think I went through all the stages of grief in 45 minutes on Saturday night.
Sunday was better.  I took my parents out for breakfast and then spent the day with them hanging out and Sarah helped my dad with yard work and we had dinner with them.  My dad was so excited to try his new smoker and the ribs he made were tasty but not cooked enough and he made some chicken too and it was really good.  He's such a little kid sometimes I swear.  He has to go get his teeth pulled on Wednesday it's going to be weird to see him with dentures.  I don't even remember what he looked like before he lost his bottom teeth.

My computer is being weird right now so I can't post a pic of my Play Off nails but they're painted like the away jerseys and I have Jonathan's number (19) on my left hand and my man Ben Smith's number (28) on my right.  They're not perfect but they'll do until I change them for home games.

I'm going to finish watching this game and then go lay out in front of the fan #HotAsHell

Until next time
Hugs, Kisses and Bestest wishes
