Is it over yet????

So we got the final word on the Thunderbird today and it's not what I wanted to hear at all.  It was the hose that broke but when it broke it seized up the engine beyond the point of fixing it.  So not only are we out $800+ dollars I STILL don't have a darn car.  We are looking at a 2003 Ford Taurus but I'm not going to get too excited about it.  I hate when people don't listen to me and then EXACTLY what I said was going to happen does and I'M the one that gets the shaft.  It drives me nuts and makes me want to slap someone.  I'm not saying I'm perfect or that I know everything but sometimes I do know exactly what I'm talking about and I don't usually throw around my "Ms. Know-It-All" tude but when I do it's best to pay attention.  I will be so happy once that damn car is gone and I don't want to hear the word Thunderbird EVER AGAIN!!!!!

On a much better note the Blackhawks tied up the series last night so they're back in the Mad House on Saturday and I can't wait!!!!!  These past 4 games have been crazy stressful so they need to give us a break and just blow them away (that would be awesome).

Random but here are my "away" game day nails.
I did kind of a cruddy job but next time will be better
GO HAWKS!!!!

I think I'm going to work on a wedding project tonight so I'll let you all know how that goes...

Until next time
Hugs, Kisses and Bestes wishes

PS-I read on Twitter that Sesame Street has introduced a character (Alex) and his father is in jail.  I think it's great that S.S. is touching on something that affects 2.7 million kids these days.  It addresses the pain, guilt and shame felt by kids when theri parents are locked up and lets them know that they're not alone.  It also gives other kids a chance to see that other kids may be going through something bad/sad and teaches them compassion and empathy.  I have always loved Sesame Street for the way they touch on heavy issues but puts them in a context that kids can understand and makes it a little easier for them to deal with. Bravo Sesame Street
