This weekend we made our annual trip to Edward's Apple Orchard in Poplar Grove. I love that place. To me Fall has not officially started until I go there. Everything about that place makes the whole year of waiting worthwhile. The smells are like nothing else in the world. It's everything that is right about Fall. It's apples and cider and pumpkins and the beautiful colors of the trees..it's perfect!
The day started out a little crappy (rainin cats and dogs and the top leaked so my butt and leg were soaked on the top and the bottom) but it turned out ok.
We took Leah and Marg came with us so it was extra fun. I love her to death she's so silly.
O and today we decided we are going to Springfield to see the Todds, I can't wait!!! We're gona go sight seeing and I want to eat a horsehoe at D'arcy's Pint. Funny thing is I am going there for the horseshoe but I looked at the menu and I think I might get something else...I always do that lol. O well I'm going to turn in so I can get up early to start my am workouts-let's see how long I can stick with that.
