Yankee or Bust bitches!!!!

This weekend was AWESOME!!!!!! Went to Iowa for the weekend with my love to the Yankee. It was a blast. Got to hang out with the fam and the Keith family-love them! Friday we took it easy at the hotel with a few drinks, just the two of us. Enjoyed some much needed down time away from the bs and reality of everyday life. Saturday we went to the Field of Dreams in Dyersville. That was really cute. I had a good time takin pictures and it was cool to be on a movie set. Can't wait to go back next year with the rest of the family. We visited the Farm Toy Museum which isn't as lame as it sounds I promise. It was cool to see all the little farms and stuff that people made and all the toys and stuff was cool. I saw an old Allis-Chalmers like ol Alice and almost made me cry. Ol Alice was my papa's cool orange tractor he had when we were little and we used to ride around on the farm with him and it was so cool. I cried when he sold her and I still miss the old girl. Mostly I miss the good times I had with my papa when we were younger but I will always have those. Then we found the best restaraunt I have been to in a while. It's called Country Junction in Dyersville and mmmmmm two words: YUM-O!!!! If you are ever in Dubuque, Farley or Dyersville you have to stop there and if you're lucky they will have the chocolate cake as the cake of the week. O we went to the dog track and casino before we went to Dyersville and hung out with the rentals and the Keiths-did I mention that I love them? It was nice and Sarah won $4 in the slot machine, woohoo!!! Saturday night was the Yankee and gota love 2500 pounds of steel and metal flying by about 20 feet in front of you. I had more fun hanging out and shootin the shit than I did watching the races. The thong man made my night. It was wrong on so many levels lol. There was also a ghost from my past that made a pathetic spectacle of himself by following me around and watching my every move. I would forget he was even there until I turned around and bam he was standing like 10 feet behind me. O well can't really blame him for not being over me lol. Sunday morning we went to CHAMPPS for breakfast and found our new Dubuque hang out. It's a really chill place with a lot of nice people. I so badly didn't want to come home. It was so nice to not have to deal with the neighbors stupid barking dogs, and omg how depressing was it to get back into the neighborhood and see the same lame ass people doing the same lame ass shit they were doing when I left, ugh. I want to move to Dubuque that's all there is too it. I'm actually about to check out this new subdivision I saw called Barrington Lakes. I always said I wanted to live in Barrington...

O well I guess it's time to go to bed. I was waiting up for Sarah to text me and it doesn't look like she's going to. She started her new job tonight and she works Sunday-Thursday nights instead of Monday-Friday. I miss her after such a fun weekend but la la la la life goes on. Night night
