You are looking at the new shipping & receiving clerk/AP helper at Anchor Harvey in Freeport and I couldn't be more thrilled. I love working there and everyone is really nice and the best part of the job is I'm actually doing someting. The days seem to go by really fast and once I get better at doing the shipping stuff I'll be able to get more involved in the accounting stuff which will be fun. Getting up at the butt crack of dawn isn't a fun time and I miss taking Harlan to school and stuff but it wasn't paying the bills and we all know those aren't going to pay themselves...Right now it's like a 6 month thing but who knows what will happen by then. Maybe I'll get hired on full time and that would be awesome!
It's been a gloomy couple days and today is no different. We were supposed to go to the apple orchard and now we're not because it's nasty and cold so it will have to wait for another weekend but I will not miss my yearly trip to the orchard for my apple cider!!! That's my favorite part of fall and the stuff at the grocery store isn't the same at all. I miss the fresh cider we used to make at the farm when we were little. It was fun to see and be a part of the whole process. We had a pretty good and well rounded childhood thanks to my grandparents.
Well I haven't really done anything special this week other than trying to get back into the swing of things but hopefully next week I'll have more energy and get more done and have something to write about
