Thank God It's Over!!!! With another holiday season behind me I can finally sit and let my brain relax for the first time in months. I love the holidays and spending time with family and friends don't get me wrong but being an "adult" this time of year is no fun. I remember when all I had to do was unwrap gifts, ah those were the days.
When I logged in to do my blog for the day I looked at my profile picture and relized that it's exactly a year old (well a year and 2 days since it was taken last year on Christmas) and it just reminds me again how much things can change in such a short time. Those little baby boys in that picture are now walking and talking balls of never ending fun and energy but I can remember like it was yesterday holding them for the first time in the hospital on the days they were born. Then I think about my brother and how he is the father of one of those handsome little demon children and he's about to go off to join the National Guard but I remember holding him for the first time in the hospital on the day he was born. It just reminds me to never take a single moment for granted and to embrace every moment on this earth because you never know when it could be your or someone you love's last.
I don't really have much earth shattering to say right now but when I do I will be sure to let you know.
